City &amp; Guilds course covering medium risk confined spaces where there are access issues.<br>

Course Aims

This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to operate in a medium risk confined space environment.

This attracts a CITB Short Course Duration Grant at Tier 1, with a value of £30.  Please see the Grants and Funding tab for further information.

 

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will be awarded a City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification.

All certification is subject to the City & Guilds Quality assurance procedure. if you require a certificate of attendance in the interim please donΓÇÖt hesitate to contact us.

Who Should Attend

Those who work in Medium Risk confined spaces:

Medium risk confined spaces exist where there is a realistic expectation of encountering a specified risk or the possible introduction of a specified risk during the work activity.

It will also not be possible to have a person permanently attached to a safety line and is usually a team entry which moves away from the entry point (e.g. man entry sewers, utility service, subway tunnels, tanks, chambers, aqueducts and complex wet wells).

Delegates must be 18 years old to attend this course.

Please be aware that the safe working load (SWL) of equipment used during the practical session of this course is 136KG.
