Summary of learning: As part of a flexible training approach, a Q&A session is delivered at the end of a virtual or in-person classroom course.

Pre-Requisites

There are no pre-requisites for the Timber Fire Door course, however delegates are expected to already have an understanding of, and be skilled in, the installation of fenestration products.

Aims

In this 1-day course delegates will gain an understanding of the essential aspects of fire doors, including regulations, testing, and evidence of performance, as well as the design, construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of timber fire doors.

This course is for raising awareness only and does not lead to any third-party certification scheme.

This training course is recognised by DHF and can be used as Continuous Professional Development (CPD) evidence when applying for a CSCS card* when using the DHF Partner Scheme.  

*Criteria and evidence vary depending on the card type applied for.

This course is aimed at experienced delegates who are involved with the installation and maintenance of timber and/or metal doors.
