• At the end of the course delegates should:
  • Be fully aware of the ways in which potable water could be contaminated
  • Understand that it is their responsibility to prevent the water becoming contaminated
  • Be successful in obtaining the nationally agreed level of training, testing and medical clearance

 

To provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding of their responsibility to ensure water quality, covering prevention techniques and disinfection.

The SHEA Water Passport is affiliated with the CSCS Scheme to allow water industry workers access to construction sites for utility work without the need to obtain a separate card.

This is valid for 3 years.

Any person working on service reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment works, wells, springs boreholes and or working on the network of water mains and service pipes must be in possession of a National Water Hygiene Card.

Delegates must provide full name, date of birth and their National Insurance Number.
