This course is designed to provide the necessary skills and knowledge required to safely operate a petrol driven cut off saw in line with manufacturerΓÇÖs guidance and current legislation. Accidents associated with the use of this equipment are becoming more common and this course aims to raise industry standards and minimise future injuries. The course is a mixture of theoretical and practical delivery.

This attracts a CITB Short Course Duration Grant at Tier 2, with a value of ┬ú140.  Please see the Grants and Funding tab for further information.

On successful completion of the course, delegates are issued with a certificate which will be valid for three years. They then need to undertake a requalification course to obtain another three-year certificate. 

All certification is subject to the City & Guilds Quality assurance procedure. if you require a certificate of attendance in the interim please donΓÇÖt hesitate to contact us.

This course is essential for delegates who are required to operate petrol driven cut off saws in the course of their daily work.
