NEBOSH National Diploma

The NEBOSH National Diploma builds directly on the knowledge gained in the NEBOSH National General Certificate or the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate. This course covers the management of health &amp; safety, hazardous agents in the workplace, workplace and work equipment and the application of health &amp; safety theories. <br>

Unit C: Workplace and Work Equipment
C1: General workplace issues
C2: Principles of fire and explosion
C3: Workplace fire risk assessment
C4: Storage, handling and processing of dangerous substances
C5: Work equipment (general)
C6: Work equipment (workplace machinery)
C7: Work equipment (mobile, lifting and access)
C8: Electrical safety and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
C9: Construction hazards and controls
C10: Workplace transport and driving for work
C11: Pressure system hazards and controls

Unit D: Application of Health and Safety Theory and Practice
Delegates are required to use the knowledge gained in the above units to make a detailed review of the health and safety performance of a workplace and produce a justified action plan to improve performance. The expected length of the assignment is around 8,000 words. The level of work should be that expected of a competent occupational health and safety practitioner working within an organisation.

Course Aims

This course builds directly on the knowledge gained in the NEBOSH National General Certificate or the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate.

Entry Requirements
Delegates must have successfully completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate (NGC) or NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (NCC) courses prior to attending this course.

Please Note: Course dates will be confirmed at the point of booking, and assessment dates will be confirmed on the course.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course delegates will receive a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
This course is delivered in partnership with Phoenix Health & Safety.
