This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to act as Lookout / Site Warden when required by a COSS as part of a safe system of work.

Only an authorised Sentinel co-ordinator may make bookings on this course.

All course results will be notified to the Rail Sentinel database and the Sentinel Smart Card of the individual will be updated.

Those needing to provide warnings (using approved systems and equipment) to protect the safety of a group working ΓÇÿOn or Near the LineΓÇÖ.

The Lookout / Site Warden is deployed in accordance with the instructions from the Controller of Site Safety.
 
Pre-requisites

Delegates must be at least 18 years of age and sponsored by a Link-up approved organisation with a valid Sentinel PTS Card, a valid Network Rail approved medical certificate, negative alcohol and drugs screening certificate and must be considered suitable to fulfill this highly critical role.
