IPAF Operator Renewal E-Learning

Our E-Learning theory module must be completed before undertaking our IPAF Operator renewal courses in Mobile Vertical (3a) and/or Mobile Boom (3b).

Agenda

The successful completion of this E-Learning theory course MUST be undertaken prior to attending the Operator Renewal Virtual Reality practical session or tutor-led practical training.

Theory
  • Introduction and pre-course theory test
  • MEWP regulations and guidance
  • Machine types and use
  • Structural parts
  • Familiarisation and pre-use inspection
  • Safe operating methods and hazards

Duration 
This is a 2 hour online training course.

Course Aims

This course provides recertification training for experienced IPAF MEWP Operators through the use of E-Learning modules to refresh their knowledge in a range of situations and environments. This course covers the powered access categories - Mobile Vertical (3a) + Mobile Boom (3b).

Certification

This Elearning module is a prerequisite to attending the practical session. A copy of the IPAF Renewal certificate, certificate number and delegate ID must be provided on the day of the practical training which must be completed within 90 days of this course.

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for delegates who have a valid IPAF PAL card with existing categories and experience that they wish to renew.

Operator E-Learning does not replace practical training. Delegates who complete the online session must still pass a supervised theory test and practical training at an IPAF-Approved Training Centre.

In order to attend this training course good written and spoken English is required.
