Practical training and assessment includes finding of faults, OBC maintenance, pressure testing, thermal imagery, Time Domain Reflectometry and cable location.


Course Aims

This course aims to provide delegates with the skills required to maintain and inspect high voltage systems and switchgear.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a City and Guilds certificate highlighting that they have met the assessments.

Who Should Attend

This course is aimed at delegates who have experience with the responsibility of the maintenance of the high voltage switchgear. This course is particularly suited to delegates who are in a supervisory or management role. It is particularly suitable for the High Voltage Competent Person and those responsible for the maintenance, testing and inspection of high voltage equipment.
