This course aims to give delegates the knowledge and skills to gain Approved Contractor Status, allowing them to self-certify the installation of new water supply pipes in compliance with water regulations and byelaws. By achieving this status, delegates reduce the need for water company inspections, streamlining their operations and increasing professional credibility. Approved contractors are subject to regular audits to ensure continued compliance and high standards.

Delegates will be assessed through a multiple-choice examination conducted at the end of the training session. Upon successful completion, delegates will be awarded a City & Guilds Accredited Programme Certificate. This certification is valid for three years, after which renewal will be required to maintain accredited status and ensure continued compliance with industry standards.

This course is designed for delegates who are regularly involved in the installation of water supply pipework, from stop tap to stop tap.
