Pre-Requisites

No prior experience is required to undertake the Fundamentals in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems course; however it would be beneficial to delegates to have existing knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems, or of BS 5839-1.

Aims

The aim of this 4-day combined course is to provide delegates with a concise and focused introduction to the Fire Detection & Alarms sector and the guidance and recommendations detailed within BS 5839-1: 2017.

Upon completion of Unit 2 of the Fundamentals in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems course, delegates will receive an instant result. Delegates who have successfully completed the course will receive a Firequal certificate in due course.
