Duration

 0.5 to 1 Day dependent upon RPE requirements.

This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and competency required to perform face fit testing, ensuring the correct fitting of suitable respiratory protection equipment (RPE) using qualitative filtering facepiece (FFP) or half masks and / or quantitative tight fitting respirators testing methods.
 
Note:
Testing is designed to test the specific mask as used by the delegate. You must bring a suitable mask with you that you wish to be fit tested for.

Delegates successfully completing the course will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance endorsed by The HSE.

Requalification every three years.

Delegates who are responsible for providing respiratory protective equipment to their employees are required to show documentary evidence that the respiratory protective equipment (RPE) fits the wearer.

By subjecting each wearer to a face fit test you can be sure your organisation is fulfilling Health Service Executive (HSE) requirements.
