Electrical Introduction for Mechanical Technicians - Low Voltage

An introductory course providing knowledge on low voltage electrical installations and understanding of compliance with legislations.

  • Motors, starters & control circuits.

  • Introduction to inspection & testing.

Course Aims

The aim of this course is to provide delegates with an introductory knowledge of low voltage electrical installations. This course has been designed to give delegates a greater understanding and ensure compliance with legislation. The course aims to build delegate competency and confidence when working with low voltage systems.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a City and Guilds accredited certificate.

Who Should Attend

This course is aimed at delegates who are current mechanical and electrical staff with a predominant mechanical background and who have, or who are about to be given, responsibility for work on low voltage (LV) electrical installations. It is recommended that delegates attend this course prior to any other electrical course.
