The CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course is designed to bring safety passport holders up to date with new health and safety legislation before their current passport expires.

This one-day course consolidates knowledge previously learnt, with a focus on legal framework and the importance of good practice in creating a safe space to work.

This remote learning and examination option for the CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course has been created to allow delegates to gain and develop the required knowledge outside of the classroom.

Microsoft Teams MUST be installed beforehand to ensure you can participate successfully.

On successful completion of this course, delegates will receive a CCNSG Safety Passport. This is the engineering construction industry safety card, which is valid for three years.

The trainer will conduct an online exam with all delegates via video communication on Microsoft Teams. The trainer will read out the questions and answers, and accurately record the delegates chosen answer. The delegate must be visible via the video at all times and must not use any reference material as this remains a closed book exam.

Assessment is via multiple-choice test papers at the end of the course, with an 80% pass mark.

This CCNSG Renewal Course is a one-day refresher for those who have already completed the CCNSG National Course. Delegates attending this course must hold a valid CCNSG Safety Passport and bring it with them on the day.

Card holders are required to attend the Renewal course within three months of the Safety Passport expiry date, or they will need to re-take the two-day CCNSG National Course.

Virtual Classroom

This course will be delivered via video conferencing using Microsoft Teams Virtual Classroom. This allows two-way communication, ensuring the course is interactive with delegates having the opportunity to ask questions. Each delegate in attendance must have a webcam and microphone, to provide evidence of identity and the ability to answer all examination questions.
