BMP1 - Gas Boosters

Agenda

  • Inspection of the installation
  • Checking the components for completeness
  • Assemble of the booster and compression installation
  • Commission the installation
  • Servicing of the booster and compressor
  • Checking the operational safety controls

Course Aims

To provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to safely strip down, service or repair, re-assemble and commission gas boosters and compressors, associated controls, and high-pressure pipework.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a LCL certificate and identification card.

Who Should Attend

Delegates wanting to be able to demonstrate competence in relation to correct joint of high-pressure pipework, Booster compressor installation and system controls as well as servicing and commissioning requirements and checking operational safety controls.

Pre-Requisites
Delegates must hold a certificate of competence in:
  • Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN:1), Installation First Fix Commercial Pipework (ICPN:1) for pipework in excess of 35mm diameter, before they can undertake this assessment
