Advanced Locksmith Course - UK Locksmith Association

Locksmith course covering enhanced locksmith skills and knowledge in common UPVC Locks.

Agenda

This day covers the extensive range of UPVC mechanisms, the correct way to identify them and how to gain access to failed mechanisms. 

Course topics include the following: 

  • Identify, order and replace UPVC mechanisms
  • Repair faulty mechanisms using the Emergency Lock Kit
  • Open UPVC mechanisms non-destructively using the Latch tool
  • Open UPVC mechanisms destructively using the Lock Puller tool
  • Open Tubular locks non-destructively using the Tubular Pick tool
  • Open Euro cylinders destructively on a small extrusion using the Adjustable Snapper

Duration: 

1 day course. 


 

Course Aims

To provide delegates with the skills and knowledge required to install and service locks on UPVC as well as identify and open common UPVC locks. This intensive course aims to provide a thorough knowledge of Advanced Locksmith techniques through practical hand-on training.

Who Should Attend
